Black Forest Saddles. accepts VISA/Mastercard and Discover, cash, money orders/cashiers checks or personal checks. If paying by check, shipment will be made after check has cleared the bank.

Our products are shipped via Ground. Shipping and handling charges will be determined upon order. (For a saddle order, the average shipping charge is $50 to $60.) In areas that do not offer Ground service or if expedited shipping is requested, shipment will be made by best insured service available, and may carry additional charges. Packaging, package list and product must be immediately inspected upon arrival. Any discrepancy or damage due to shipping must be immediately reported to the shipping company and to Black Forest Stables, Inc.
When ordering, please provide your street address, as UPS does not deliver to PO boxes.
We are often asked if we have a Demo Program. We do not have a Demo program, but we do offer a Trial Policy is as follows: we ship a new saddle and your requested accessories to you, and you have 10 days from receipt of the product to be sure it works for you and your horse. In the event that you need to return the items, simply notify us for a Return Authorization number, and ship the items back to us, we recommend an insured shipping method, do not request signature. Discounted products and Special Orders DO NOT qualify for a return, Exchanges do not extend the trial period. You will receive a credit of your purchase price less initial shipping/handling charges, Please read our “Return Policy” for any additional charges. The items should be clean and in like new condition. This Trial method works well for ourselves and for our customers, since the vast majority of our customers *love* their saddles from day 1! This way there is no hassle of sending back a Demo and waiting for your New saddle as well as incurring additional shipping charges.
You received a new saddle with a 10 day trial and will return this saddle clean and in new condition with us having an understanding that you may have ridden in the saddle for a short distance. You received a package that the tracking of the delivery date you received it, was the start of your 10 day trial. The request for a Return Authorization Number must be made no later than the 10th day from when you received the saddle, Upon receiving the RA# you will have 3 business days to provide us with a valid tracking number of the return otherwise you will be charged an additional $5 a day. You will pay for the return shipping and will be responsible of the safe return, we recommend insuring the package. There will be a 12% restocking fee for saddles and a 10% restocking fee for any other product approved for returned. You will be charged a shipping fee for exchanges, example; $50 for a saddle as well as you are responsible of the shipping cost of returns of any kind. Saddle Pads, Used or discounted products of any kind, Special Orders and exchanges do not qualify for a return or refund. Do not request a signature on our part at time of the return delivery; this will only delay your refund. By enforcing this Policy will allow us to keep our pricing the most competitive and fair to our clients. Refunds may take up to 10 days from receipt of the return.

Black Forest products are offered to you conditioned upon your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein. Use of Black Forest products implies acceptance of all such terms, conditions and notices.
Black Forest saddles carry a 12-month warranty from date of purchase on workmanship, and Synthetic saddles carry a 90 day warranty. Damage resulting from misuse or neglect of the product is not covered under this warranty. Cosmetic and appearance changes to the natural leather products are a fact of nature and are not covered under this warranty. No additional warranties apply, whether implied or other.
The sole and exclusive obligation of Black Forest Stables, Inc. dba/ Black Forest Saddles shall be to accept return of product in the manner and for the period provided above.
Limitation of Liability
Equestrian activities can be extremely enjoyable, but also dangerous. In no event shall Black Forest Stables, Inc. be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever arising out of or connected with the use or misuse of its product(s). Buyer assumes all risks and liability from use of product(s).
Black Forest Stables, Inc. reserves the right to change the terms, prices, conditions, Product and Features (to equal or better) and notices under which their products are offered. Black Forest Stables, Inc. is not responsible for any misprints or misrepresentation on their publications, including but not limited to advertisement, brochures, verbal and e-mail communications and website.
Black Forest Stables, Inc. does not share your personal information with third parties, other than for shipping purposes.
